TEMC wins the 2025 Taiwan Circular Economy Award

Promoting sustainable development, Achieving a circular economy business model;
Moving towards a world of green foundry, Co-creating a new era of net-zero carbon emissions.

On March 21, 2025, TEMC Metal & Chemical Corporation was awarded the Outstanding SME Award at the “Taiwan Circular Economy Award,” hosted by the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research. This honor highlights the company’s exceptional achievements in environmental protection and the circular economy. Since being inspired by the concept of “green foundry” at the 2011 GIFA in Düsseldorf, Germany, TEMC has actively promoted innovative green foundry materials, committed to waste recycling and energy conservation. The company employs advanced waste recycling technologies to effectively transform waste metals and by-products generated during the process into recyclable resources, utilizing recycled water to significantly reduce environmental impact and lower energy consumption, achieving a green transformation.

However, this year, the world is facing uncertainty and challenges as the Trump 2.0 administration announced the U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Agreement, and the EU released an EU Omnibus simplification package. In this context, it is especially important for enterprises to demonstrate “Ambition in Action.” This award not only recognizes TEMC’s continuous efforts in the green foundry industry but also fully highlights the company’s proactive stance amid economic downturns and social challenges. On the day of the awards ceremony, the International Conference on Sustainability Trends was also held, deeply exploring the future of the sustainable economy and emphasizing how businesses can continue to promote green innovation and sustainable development amidst changing environmental and social challenges. Such exchanges will help enterprises steadfastly move towards a sustainable future in uncertain times.

In the future, TEMC will continue to uphold the vision of “MAKE FOUNDRY CLEAN, AND HAPPY WORK” and will continue to invest more resources in the research and development of green foundry materials, further optimize product processes, and collaborate with more industry partners to promote innovative solutions that align with the principles of the circular economy, contributing to the development of the global circular economy.
