TEMC to Exhibit at the 2026 AFS Metalcasting Congress
TEMC is growing in North America and showing the strength of Taiwan’s supply chain.
Grand Rapids, Michigan — April 14–16, 2026 — TEMC took part in the 130th AFS Metalcasting Congress at the DeVos Place Convention Center. The event, organized by the American Foundry Society (AFS) under the theme “Shaping the Future of Metalcasting,” is the largest metalcasting trade show in North America and brought together over 250 equipment makers, foundry material suppliers, and buyers from around the world.
At the show, TEMC highlighted its work in green casting, quality control, and process improvement. The company focused on Industrial markets such as automotive, machinery, energy. TEMC aimed to show North American buyers the technical strength and supply‑chain reliability of Taiwan’s foundry materials industry, and to grow business and partnerships in the region.
Facing a global shift toward smarter, more automated, and lower carbon emission manufacturing, TEMC is investing in new equipment, better processes, digital control systems, and energy saving measures. These efforts help improve production efficiency and product consistency to meet international customers’ high standards for quality, delivery, and sustainability.
A special moment at the booth was a visit from Mr. Doug Kurkul, former AFS CEO, who retired in February, and the newly appointed, Mr. Justin Scott. They discussed foundry trends, Taiwan‑U.S. cooperation, and sustainable manufacturing—recognizing TEMC’s strong international reputation.
The AFS Metalcasting Congress is a key event for the global foundry industry. TEMC’s participation raised the company’s international profile and showed the ambition of Taiwan’s SMEs to compete globally. Looking ahead, TEMC will uphold its vision of “GREEN FOUNDRY, HAPPY WORKING”. The company will continue to introduce advanced foundry technologies and digital solutions, while investing more resources in green material research and process optimization. TEMC is committed to leading Taiwan’s foundry industry into a new era of higher quality, greater efficiency, and more value added products, contributing to the sustainable development of global manufacturing.
