is helping customer to improve the casting performance and help
customer
to approach order.
1. Design the products for the customers
In our major product lines about the mould coating, we could develop
the products with our customers, becasue in some situations the
foundries they don't used the standard process for casting. And
we could offer the sleeves to fit the feeder size.If the customer
needed the special item, we also could meet the requirement.
2. Casting Simulation
Development of production methods for castings has traditionally
been a mixture of experience, empirical rules and tedious manual
calculations, placing the process somewhere between art and science.
New computerized tools are available which can bring both automation
and rigor to this design process.Starting with a 3D CAD model (from
either the customer or the foundry's own CAD system), computer software
can be used to analyze the casting shape and suggest the number,
location and size of feeders with automatic calculation, as well
as to provide extremely accurate weight data as a by-product. Next,
standard gate and feeder shapes from libraries can be brought into
the model and attached to appropriate points. This initial design
can be verified by running both a flow analysis (to view flow through
gates and filling of the casting cavity) as well as a solidification
analysis (to view progressive solidification and the suitability
of the feeders to produce a sound part) through computer simulation.
Finally, the process design can be fine-tuned through automatic
optimization, which ensures that both yield and quality are maximized.
Through the use of these tools, the optimum production method for
a given casting can often be achieved within a very short time period,
resulting in high-quality initial production castings, short lead
times and minimal production costs.
